Buying Policy
We buy books and vinyl records!
How it Works:
Bring ONE box of contained books or records any time while the store is open. If it’s too heavy for you, it’s too heavy for us. We will evaluate them and call you when they’re ready with a cash or credit offer usually in about a week (credit is always twice cash value). Return to the store at your convenience to receive your payment. You are welcome to decline the offer or go back through them.
All books are evaluated on an individual basis so there is no set-in-stone rule, but here is a guideline for things that we almost never buy:
- Hardcover Fiction
- Records w/o Covers
- Current or Ex-library Books
- Magazines
- Textbooks
- Anything moldy, excessively damaged/dirty, smoke stained
If books are left here for longer than one month and after having attempted to contact you at least twice, they will be assimilated into our inventory or donated. You can still get the cash or credit value for them if we wanted any, but you will not be able to receive them back.
Store Credit
Store credit can be used just like cash. Please have your receipt when you redeem it. Store credit can’t be combined with any other sale or discount.
